Getting started at the University mentioned on the General Information page, Arrival Day and Orientation Weeks are a great way to get started at the university - both for practical and social reasons! Arrival Day for new program students is on Tuesday, 15 August. The University has even arranged for shuttle services from Lund's main campus to Helsingborg. Be sure to read more about that on the Arrival Day webpage.

First Course: SKOP14 - Strategic Communication in Intercultural Contexts

In the course Strategic communication in an intercultural context, students are introduced to the multidisciplinary research field and practice of Strategic Communication. Students acquire an understanding of a strategic approach to communication management, as well as different theoretical perspectives, models and concepts within the field. Students are also introduced to intercultural communication, with a specific focus on its application in an international university setting. Students furthermore learn about oral presentation techniques as well as group work, which are very important skills for their studies as well as in communication practice. Industry professionals and alumni contribute as visiting lecturers on the course, providing an insight into future career paths and current issues.
