My name is Howard Nothhaft. I'm from Germany. I work at Campus Helsingborg as a teacher and researcher and have done so since 2011. Before that I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Leipzig (Günter Bentele and Ansgar Zerfaß) with a shadowing-study of communication managers (and got the EUPRERA award of excellence for that one, which pleased me no end).
My main interests lie in the area of strategy and communication strategy: Clausewitz's On War is always on my bedside-table and I turn to it as devout Christians turn to the bible (no, just kidding). Recently I started to become interested in the question what strategic communication does to democracy and developed some thoughts about lying, the financial crisis or climate-change-denial.
I've been publishing book chapters and articles about all kinds of topics connected to public relations - which is not very strategic, I guess. If you're interested in strategic communication, please have a look at our joint ISK-blog SK Uncut.
