Cooperation & Research

We conduct research in cooperation with private and public organizations, working with client organisations that would like us to highlight a specific issue or problem.

The Department collaborates with the surrounding society

Collaboration with companies and organizations in the communications industry is an integral part of our education and our research.

The knowledge we gain through collaborations helps us understand the world around us while we can develop the content of our educational programmes and freestanding courses. This means that we become better at meeting current requirements and trends in the communications industry. Our researchers also have an extensive exchange with representatives of various communication organizations and continuous contact with the professional field through various research projects and other collaborations.

Our students get in touch with companies and organizations via, among other things, guest lectures, study visits and at the University's labor market days. Representatives from various companies and organizations also regularly contribute to our courses with industry knowledge, practical problem-related lectures, case studies and project work.

Collaborate with students

Equipped with the latest knowledge in strategic communication, our students have the opportunity to both practice and write their thesis in collaboration with private and public organizations.

Commissioned education

The department also offers research and education on the basis of direct commissions from private and public organisations. You are welcome to contact us for more information and for answers to any questions.

Information for employers

Do you as an employer want to reach our students? Then our first tip is that you go in and register at My Career, which is the career portal for students and graduates at Lund University.

We can also offer you to post an internship and/or job posting on our Facebook page.

As an employer, you are also welcome to participate in the Social Sciences' labor market days and / or Agora Day.

The coordinator has a special task to promote and facilitate collaboration with the surrounding community, among other things by disseminating and mediating contacts. This may apply to collaboration agreements, arranging theme days, commissioned training and contract research where it is possible and to the benefit of the Department.
